Do you sometimes feel like you’re overloaded with stress? As if your boss is constantly getting on your last nerve?

A couple weeks ago, in the column about ‘Raising our boys the right way,’ I made mention of how important it is for parents to have an open door policy when it comes to communication with their children.

“Why you deh suh sad all de time man?” “You ain’t talking to nobody… you just deh by yuhself.’’

Living in a patriarchal society means that many boys become men who believe they are powerful and privileged.

“I don’t think I’m attractive enough.” “I’m exhausted from looking after the kids.”

  For many, Christmas is the most awaited time of the year.
