Tropical Mockingbird

The Tropical Mockingbird (Mimus gilvus) is a resident breeding bird from southern  Mexico south to northern Brazil, and in the Lesser Antilles and other Caribbean  islands.

Rules for surviving Christmas

It’s hard to believe that almost an entire year is about to end and it is that time again to turn our lives upside down to supposedly be merry for the most anticipated holiday of the year, Christmas.

Diversity of service With November being the month in which Caribbean countries were asked to celebrate tourism, this writer was encouraged to explore the subject of tourism further, particularly as it pertained to Guyana. 

Travelling in the good old days

On the way back from a recent trip to Canada, it occurred to me that although there are still airline problems in the Caribbean, it is nothing compared to the headaches that used to exist.
