Inconsistent   The disclosure that another hotel with an international brand will be built in Guyana has raised once again questions as to what the government’s real interest is in encouraging such types of foreign investment in Guyana.

The census crash

Early days These might be early days to be discussing the results of the census taken in 2012, but the population decline may have dashed the hopes of the government to brag about its handling of the economy and the economic development of the nation.

US misses the point on Central American children migrants

President Barack Obama’s vow to take executive actions to fix the immigration system and stem the avalanche of Central American children migrants to the United States is good news, but I’m afraid it will only be a Band-Aid approach, which won’t address the key issue: keeping Central American kids in school.
