Joshua Ramsammy, April 5, 1928-February 11, 2009 Dr Joshua Reuben Ramsammy, CCH, former senior lecturer and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Guyana, died on February 11, aged 80.

At the end of three rounds, National champion Kriskal Persaud is leading among the seniors and Khalid Gajraj among the juniors. The remaining four rounds to conclude the tournament will be played on Sunday, March 1.
