Naya Zamana 16 promises exciting fusion of dances

Colour, charm, grace and style is what is being promised when the 16th production of the Naya Zamana dance production comes to the stage of the National Cultural Centre next week Saturday during which the dancers will explode with each one bringing their unique dance ability to enlivened the production.

‘Pan minors’ complete music literacy programme

Some 115 children in Georgetown, East Coast Demerara, Berbice and Linden have completed a steel pan music literacy programme sponsored by Republic Bank – ‘the Right Start Pan Minors Music Literacy Programme’ and were this week awarded certificates.
